Starflakes

....all of us are in God's loving sight and embrace!

During the Christmas/New Year Holiday week I received a text message and 6 amazing pictures from one of my Reiki students who is also a homecare nurse.  She had arrived at her destination to provide care for a gentleman and before she entered the home, she noticed that it had begun snowing.  She observed the unusual flakes that were failing from the heavens and resting upon the ground.  They were a perfect 6 pointed star of David!  She took many pictures with her cellphone and sent 6 of them to me along with the story.  

This past year was a year of transition/loss/gain for her and she took the "starflakes"as a sign of HOPE!  Hope that she had embraced what God had had been asking her to hold onto, and hope that she had let go of the things God was asking her to release, the story brought to mind the scripture form Psalm 8:4, "What is man that thou art mindful of him, and the son of man, that thou visitest him?" 

Certainly these special snowflakes served as a beautiful reminder that she, and all of us are in God's loving sight and embrace.
